Ethernet over Copper

G.SHDSL.bis technology is used to transmit Carrier Ethernet services over twisted copper pairs. Based on the number of copper pair bonded, Raisecom's RC1102/RC1106 series G.SHDSL.bis modems are capable of delivering from 4.6Mbps to 45Mbps Ethernet throughput over maximum 8-pair of copper cables.

Ethernet Demarcation G.SHDSL.bis Modem

RC1106E-FE-2Wx4 is an intelligent managed G.SHDSL.bis modem which can be flexibly used
in point-to-point and aggregation applications. Working in a PTP application it offers up to 22.8Mbps Ethernet throughput over 8-wire (4-pair) copper pairs by inverse multiplexing; and it also acts as an aggregator to concentrate 2/4/8-wire traffics from multiple remote sites.

As a member of Raisecom's Ethernet Demarcation Device portfolio, RC1106E supports integrated Ethernet switching functions including VLAN, Q-in-Q, QoS, rate limiting and
802.3ah, 802.1ag and Y.1731 standard OAM.

RC1106E-FE-2Wx4 card is designed to be deployed in OPCOM3500E 6U chassis. It offers two options for connecting the Ethernet traffic, either through the card's front panel or aggregated into OPCOM3500E's Gigabit Ethernet uplink to the PSN backbone. It supports local CLI and SNMP based management via the MGT Agent card in chassis and independent remote SNMP management through the Ethernet interface. When working in aggregation application, it supports Raisecom RC1102-FE(Rev.B), RC1102-FE-4W, and RC1106E-FE-2Wx4 as its remote peers.
