THE RESULT: A SPIKE IN PRICES OF SCRAP METALS -LIKE COPPER- USED ON ALL CABLES-ONCE THOUGHT AS 'JUNK' AS CAUSING CRIMINALS TO 'ROB' JOBSITES AND SCRAP YARDS FOR METALS.
A FEW WEEKS AGO COPPER WAS SELLING FOR $ 8,820 PER METRIC TON - UP NEARLY 30% IN THREE (3) MONTHS.
SINCE ALL CABLES ARE MADE WITH COPPER AND OIL BASED PRODUCTS SUCH AS OIL (HIT $ 110 A BARREL UP 50% IN 4 MONTHS) OUR MANUFACTURERS ARE UPDATING THIER PRICES TO AMERICAN TECH SUPPLY WEEKLY.
AMERICAN TECH SUPPLY CANNOT ABSORB THESE COSTS ANYMORE- SO PLEASE CHECK WITH US TODAY.
First our Guarantee:
All our products carry a full guarantee and or warranty. Depending on the manufacturer, our products are fully covered by all manufacturer warranties and or gurantees. The terms warranty and or gurantee are overlapping and due to American Tech Supply carrying over 175,000 products, there are much to many to list. For specific information on a particular product's warranty or guarantee- please call us first and we will gladly supply this information to you.
RETURNS: Any custom cables- copper, fiber or coax- or combination cannot be returned. All our cable are tested and free from defects. Any cable not meeting your needs WILL BE EXCHANGED for another.
Again -there are NO RETURNS on CUSTOM CABLES- NO RETURNS ON CUSTOM FIBER JUMPERS- COPPER CABLE UNLESS CABLE ARE DEFECTIVE.
If the cable or products have been damaged either through handling or shipping- we will issues you an RMA and replace the cable(s).
On all other NON CUSTOM cable(s) - we will issue you a refund MINUS our re-stocking fees that can range from 25-50%- depending on the manufacturer. We offer tremendous discounts and make sure that all our products are shipped out correctly. If American Tech Supply ships the wrong materials-and it is our fault- we will correct all shipments at our cost and gladly refund you your money if we cannot correct the mistake.

Please note that until further notice- the purchaser of equipment from American Tech Supply must provide to us a valid resale certificate -for all purchases in the State of California if they do not want to be accessed tax in the State of California. There are NO EXCEPTIONS!
For all other states -until further notice- it the responsibility of our customers to provide (or pay) for all SALES TAX or "use taxes" within their respective states. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to pay all applicable sales taxes within their respective states. ATS does not have to collect sales tax from a customer unless we have a physical presence in that particular state. 2. TERMS OF PAYMENT: Prepaid, or VISA, Master Card, or Net thirty (30) days after CREDIT APPROVAL. Otherwise, prepaid or Letter Of Credit or Wire Transfer.
3. SHIPMENTS: When a carrier is not specified, shipment will be made by best surface carrier available. RUSH ORDERS will be shipped as authorized. The customer shall bear the risk of in-transit loss or damage.
4.CANCELLATION: In the event of cancellation, ATS shall be reimbursed for all expenses, and a 25% restocking fee. Items made to order are non-cancelable and non-returnable-SEE BELOW ITEM 11.
5.VISA/Master Card/Discover Card Purchases Are Subject To a 3% additional Charge, American Express a 5% Additional Charge
6.There is a $25.00 return Check Charge
7.Any Invoices over 30 days will accrue an interest charge of 18% of any outstanding balance
8.Overseas Orders Must Be Pre-Paid- Credit Card- Or Wire Transfer
9. Customer or purchaser ATS Products is responsible for ALL SALES and or "use" TAXES-outside of California and Florida. 11. As of 7/11/04 SPECIAL ORDERS: THERE ARE NO RETURNS UNDER ANY CONDITION FOR SPECIAL ORDERS. THIS APPLIES TO ALL FIBER OPTIC CABLE, PATCH CABLES, TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT & HARDWARE, CABINETS, ETC., OR ALL PURCHASES THAT ARE SPECIAL ORDERED. UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE NO ALTERNATIVES TO THIS STIPULATION- AS ONCE ATS ORDERS EQUIPMENT FROM ONE OF OUR SUPPLIERS- WE TOO CANNOT RETURN IT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

16.CUSTOM ORDERS - Any "custom" orders including custom switches,custom data cabinets, custom racks, custom connectors, custom adapters, custom fiber optic cables, custom copper patch cords, custom CAt 5e patch cords, custom CAT 6 patch cords, & custom OSP and outdoor rated patch cords yarer NON-RETURNABLE. Upon receipt of each CUSTOM ORDER- American Tech Supply verifies that this is a NON- RETURNABLE ITEM. For custom patch cords, fiber optic assemblies, etc., we have to advise our customers that unless the product is defective- there are NO RETURNS. American TEch Supply TESTS and VERIFIES that each and every cable that leaves our warehouses MEET OR EXCEED EIA-TIA 568-A/B cable specifications. If you are unsatisfied with an 'appearance' or cosmetic issue'-yet if the product meets the criteria that the cable was designed for(IE SPECIFICATIONS DETERMINED BY THE EIA AND THE TIA-- there will BE ONLY ONE SOLUTION.
We have a 50% -RE-STOCKING CHARGE FOR ALL CUSTOM CABLES AND CUSTOMER MUST PAY THE FREIGHT FOR THE OUTBOUND AND INBOUND (RETURN) SHIPMENTS. There are no other returns for any other CUSTOM products.
